North Sikkim:-
With the District capital Mangan, North Sikkim is the largest district in the state of Sikkim. People from the community of Bhutia and Lepcha are in abundance in this part of the state. Cardamom cultivation is the major occupation of the people in this District, North Sikkim is also known as the capital of Large Cardamom. Slow and steadily moving toward the modernization North Sikkim has a lot of tourist Destination, to offer to it's guest like Monasteries, Lakes, Hot Springs, Valleys, Trekking Routes, Village Home Stay, Water Falls etc.
East Sikkim:-
With the State capital Gangtok East Sikkim is full equiped with all the modern days facility. It is the mainstream of Tourism in Sikkim with thousands of tourist coming from all parts of the world. East District has a lot of tourist destinations like Monastaries, Lakes, Temples, Water Falls, Kings Palace, View Points, Flower Exbitions all through out the year, even Trekking routes, Stupas etc. Gangtok is the base of all the Govt. West Sikkim:-
With the district capital Gyalsing and an area of 1166sq.kms. West Sikkim is a paradise for all the tourist from all over the world. Most of the trekking routes in Sikkim lies in this part of Sikkim. like the famous Singilela & Goechala Trek. West Sikkim has become a famous tourist destination for the tourist all around the globe for last couple of decades. Apart from these Trekking routes West Sikkim has a lot to offer like Mosasteries, View Points, Lakes, Water Falls, Valleys, Caves, Hot Springs, Village Home Stay, Etc.
South Sikkim:-
Covering an area of about 750sq.kms South Sikkim is the Smallest District in the state of Sikkim but it is the second biggest town in whole of Sikkim with all the modern days facilities like in Gangtok. Namchi is emerging into the biggest flower industry of the country with more and more people cultivating flowers. one can view varieties of flowers all over the district. apart from this South Sikkim has a lot to offer like Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse, View Points, Monastaries, Rock Garden, Lakes etc
